Cascod Innovations ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Cascod EduSuite mobile application and web platform (edusuite.net). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app and the choices you have associated with that data.

While using our app, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, and institutional data (student/staff records) required for the School ERP to function.

2. Permissions and Data Usage

Our app requires the following permissions to provide educational services:

Camera: Used for capturing profile pictures and uploading documents within the school management system.

Microphone: Necessary for participating in live video classes and conferences via integrated services like Jitsi Meet.

Storage/Photos: Used to upload assignments, download report cards, and save educational resources to your device.

Internet & Network State: Used to check connectivity and ensure the webview functions correctly.

Location: Used to provide live school bus tracking on the map and ensure the safety of students during transit.

3. Email Communications & Anti-Spam Policy

EduSuite strictly adheres to international Anti-Spam regulations. We use enterprise email services (such as Amazon SES) to communicate with our users.

Transactional Emails: We primarily send automated system alerts, OTPs, fee receipts, and admission confirmations required for the daily operation of the School Management System.

Promotional & Marketing Emails: We never send unsolicited marketing emails. Promotional content is sent ONLY to users who have explicitly opted-in via our website forms. We do not buy, sell, or rent email lists. Every non-transactional email contains a clear and visible "Unsubscribe" link.

4. Third-Party Services

The app may contain links to other services. Please note:

Jitsi Meet: We use Jitsi for video conferencing. Audio and video data during these sessions are processed by Jitsi according to their privacy standards.

WhatsApp: Users may choose to contact support or teachers via WhatsApp. This interaction happens externally in the WhatsApp application.

5. Data Security

We implement enterprise-grade security measures, including data encryption and secure socket layer (SSL) technology, to protect your personal information. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for use by students, parents, and teachers. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children without parental consent as per the guidelines of educational institutions.
